Dear ALL,
We are just about 12 months on from when the first shipment of A100's were delivered to customers doors.
The first batch consisted of only approx 50 A100's. Very quickly the A100 was selling for a premium.
I was lucky enough to get my A100 in the second batch. This was after many hours spent clicking the refresh button and many days spent waiting for my pre-order etc.
Anyway as I said we are now 12 months further down the line with a new model, the A110/B110 recently released, and a new firmware out today. There have been many user applications written, and now, with the coming version of myihome, integration between a user app (YAMJ) and Syabas software.
We have a great forum here with loads of friendly members more than willing to help new users get familiarised with their purchases. Members are pushing the product forward through feedback and suggestions.
I think it would be nice for those that think that they may have got their A100 first, to post the date and time they got their A100, and we'll see who actually did, moderators/magazine reviewers etc excluded. How you came across the NMT and what made you purchase would also be interesting.
We may even have a little competition or something else to celebrate. Put your suggestion in and we'll try to see if the forum can push Syabas to give us a prize or two for the winner/runner-up.
The competition could be for 'Best Contributor to the PCH' or a Best Article prize, or both. Ideas welcomed.
Thank you everyone for the past 12 months and for making this forum what it is - the best/only place to come for NMT support/advice.

I know I was number 182 on the list and got mine at end of november last year.
Great to see 12 months on there is still development for the product and it's still in high demand.

I must have got mine about the same time.
My order was on 13/11/08 with shipping on 23/11/08 via DHL. Think I got it on 26/11/08.

i think i get mine in the first week of August or was it end of July

A Competition for best user created application with a poll vote?
(if we can have more then one)
-Best contributer would be a very good one too....theres a bunch of guys who are very well deserving of this imho (moderators aside). I know for a fact that without some of the help from users that a lot of my stuff would never get done.
-Best Article/faq is a good one too.
-To steal an idea i saw from another company...they're having a competition for best user created youtube video of the product. They set a criteria that the video had to do certain things, like display the name of the product, and show off some of its features/abilities.
If i had one vote it'd go towards best user created application competition....there are some truely awsome applications that people made which make the pch such a better overall product that they should definitly be congratulated/rewarded.

On a total aside, the future is here now! if you don't believe me just check out OLED's, amazing! you could have a roll up HD tv! about 3mm thick.

I bought mine A100 early April this year after struggling to get movies played with my office lap top. Read a Swedish board and came across this wonderful product that keeps me awake and busy.
Well it's not only the product - it's this community with all nice people, it must be 70% of the value of the product!
Btw, they only had one unit left in the store and first they only had the box, but after a nervous 30 minutes they found it in the window and the entrance to get access to it was so narrow that I have to send in my 11 year old son, crawling to reach it among different high prized items(Lot's of people stopped and stared). Then it was mine, only mine my precious.....drawl

I agree the community is what really makes this product go from being very cool to freaking awsome. Any time i tell friends about the product i tell them about how great the community is, and how responsive the company is with feedback and firmware upgrades.
It really is incredible to think of how far things have come just since i hopped on board in may...
If the next year is just as productive as this one was, the NMT will be the greatest product ever created!
