RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - chunkywizard - 12-10-2008 03:18 PM Hi Ger, just to report 1.41b3 seems to be working fine here. Also I have got my seeding ratio working in TorrentWatch! It started working when I deleted and readded favourites. It's not always accurate (sometimes it stops at 1.2 ratio (instead of 1) but it's way better than it was (not stopping at all!) One other thing, I noticed on the PCH web interface it say Transmission 1.41 now (whereas before it say 1.41 beta1). Can you add back in the beat revision as then I can confirm I am running the correct version, Cheers CW RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - jusid - 12-10-2008 06:28 PM (12-09-2008 10:41 PM)harp Wrote: Hi, i´m still having problems with this. I can´t delete Stuff from the download directory, even if remove from list, stop transmission, turn off (standby) the nmt. This is realy anoying. It is file permission problem. Ger Teunis, please add the following line into clutch script just before running transmission daemon: Code: umask 0000RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - vaivel - 12-10-2008 06:57 PM @jusid: If you lack problems to look at, then there still is a problem with popular torrents (>15-20K peers). They do download now, but slowly and drags the overall performace down, if you pause/remove the offendig torrent, ul/dl goes back to normal. I have some ideas how to improve Transmission performance on NMT and will try to implement them as times goes by. RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - fatejd - 12-10-2008 11:58 PM I've looked an looked for a while now, but no good results on this: where can a get a recent blocklist for transmission? Is this an important enough issue we should hold off on b3? The umask setting prevents the deletion of torrents? The umask setting prevents the deletion of torrents? Yes, umask setting fixes problem with deletion/moving of downloaded files via ftp/samba. RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - Ash' - 12-11-2008 10:44 AM Hello brothers .. and tnks for the work... transmission 1.4 work fine.. only a question... i have some problem's with SSL tracker (https://etcetc) . First, i don't installed beta3 version of transmission, have you idea if this version fixes the problem, or must wait other release??? Regards!! The umask setting prevents the deletion of torrents? Because you ask so nicely I'll update the setups in the next couple of days ;-) RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - Ltmarx - 12-11-2008 03:43 PM How can i change the file permissions on the already downloaded content? I cant move/delete/whatever the files i already downloaded! RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - johnstewart - 12-11-2008 05:10 PM I have noticed so far with 1.41b3 is that my seeding is not working as well... torrents which I expect to have dozens of peers are only seeing to 2 of 2, or in many cases 0 of 0 peers... however, downloading does seem to work okay. Seeding does seem a problem, however. Edit: Also seeing a number of torrents trying to seed with message "Announcing too fast! Skipped. Just wait and this will resolve itself. No action necessary" RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - Ltmarx - 12-11-2008 09:56 PM i tried changing the file permissions but i get an error: 550 Could not change perms on File.avi: Operation not permitted How do i change the file permissions? or actually: how do i change the fact that i do not have permission to change the permissions? RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.40 FINAL - lazarus18 - 12-12-2008 10:08 AM Is there any chance the transmission 1.4 to get in the next firmware? I really need a option to upload .torrent file in the client via USB stick. I can't do this with 1.4 Final. I just got TW trying to download an episode. Currently Transmission 1.41b3 is showing: Downloading from 36 of 38 peers - DL: 0 bytes/s UL: 0 bytes/s Unfortunately, a private tracker or I'd give you the link - I'll IM you with more info, jusid. |
