When you change the value, have you checked that the config files are updated? this might be a red herring but I changed the value in the gui to 6h and the config file stayed at 60m. Also the values in the drop down are not the same permissible values as in config file comments ?? maybe Smile

Is there a way to make the movie autostart from the Details page after say, X seconds.

I'm not sure about that one. Some people might have read the plot, then decided to boil the kettle or have a quick 'call or nature' before the show begins..

I could make it an option, but then you get into a too many options scenario.. which is starting to happen anyway!

I've uploaded a new version which should fix a few bugs here and there ..

A known issue is 'Marking and Deleting' from the tv - forgot to sort that one. Will do that later in the week.

Any plans to add music and photo support? It seems that there are no jukeboxes that manage all media ... movies, music, and photos =(

The popcorn hour is currently pretty terrible at managing music and photos. I thought about suggesting this at one point, but then realized that I really just need the popcorn hour for watching (HD) videos. My xbox1 with XBMC still serves my needs for pretty much everything else, but it is annoying to have to switch between two different devices.

I thought about building a lite-HTPC that could play HD videos and run XBMC, but it still wouldn't meet my desire of having a low power always on device. Then again... how important is it really to have a low-power device? Wink

I dont use my NMT for much else besides video. Music would be nice but I dont like having the TV on just for music. Maybe psycological! That is one case where I would prefer a PC interface, for building up playlist on the fly etc.

Re the HD/SD filter, It had cross my mind a couple of times as a feature but then I thought I never really use it much. I usually filter what I'm downloading. Thoughts?

BTW Internally I've started scraping the Director. This is not visible in the interface, but the reason for doing this is laying down the groundwork for non-English language support. I plan to search the English pages of other language sites (allocine,filmaffinity etc) based on English Film Title , Year and Director. then scrape the sites internal film id and look it up in the native language.

Btw, I mentioned it earlier. Oversight isn't adding new content anymore for me. I figured I'll try to reinstall it, but wondered if there's something you want to make sure the problem won't happen again, although there's no updated logs. One thing I did was try the transmission support.. but I switched it off. Not sure if that's the problem.

Thanks I'll sort the tiling out. For new content :

first post results of 'crontab -l' if you have telnet installed.

Then Just change the watch frequency so some value and change it back again.

PS I notice you have the Kingdom. Is that the series? What are the file names? [pm or email if scene names]

I Love Oversight, but i'm missing the ability to browse through movies, i mean from the details page of a movie to go directly to the next one in the list.
I am missing something? is that something you can implement?

Hello,

I have noticed the 3 behaviors below related to TV series:

1) pushing "play" and then next (or waiting for the end of the episode) plays the next file to the right of the list instead of the next file below (i.e. if there are 10 episodes, order is 1,6,2,7,3,8,...5,10 instead of 1,2,3,4,...,9,10).
2) The limit of episodes displayed is 32 (was 20 in last version)
3) poster.jpg in the series folder does not work (fanart.jpg works fine)

If I'm adding The Wire DVDrips (disc 1 contains season 1 episode 1 and 2 for example) what is format of filename? The Wire.S1.E1-2.iso ?

Hi Thanks, 1 & 3 should be fixed in the current version 20090916-3b ? Are you running the latest version?
