RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - Inrego - 12-07-2009 10:04 PM

I also have a question regarding NZBget .. I just finished downloading an episode of Dexter, and I noticed that it has been moved to shares/tv/Dexter - Season 4
I kinda like that feature, but I want to modify it since I'm storing my tv series at another place, and with a slightly different folder structure - is that possible? I have it like this:
Shares/Video/Series/Dexter/Season 4/

btw, it also didn't delete the sample of a movie I finished downloading earlier although that setting is enabled - any suggestions? (Not that it bothered me, just trying to report any bugs I find)

About the tv output - it's set to HDMI 720p - 60hz in the settings, but it's recognized in Oversight as Component 480p - 60hz. So it's recognized as mode 5 but I am in fact using mode 10 as far as I understand it.
EDIT: I just tried switching to HDMI 720p - 50hz (mode 16) and it was recognized as mode 6 (component 720p - 60hz), so now I do have the HD mode, but it's not been recognized right.

@Inrego - see Oversight->Setup->Renaming. Also looks like the C200 tvmode table is different to A100 based on your report?

@lordy:
I am glad to see the work is still in progress and you are doing a great job!!

There's only one thing with the latest Oversight r-595 (testing) version for pch-a100 that I do not like very much. I prefer the old display version of TV series sub-menu where all the episodes were displayed with their full tiltes over the latest solution without the full titles. I think it was much more user friendly before and the whole overview was better. I also miss fanart at the third level of TV series pages. Maybe you shouldn't fix this feature since it wasn't broken, if you know what I want to say.

Keep up the good work though. Thumbs up!!!!

RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - Inrego - 12-08-2009 12:04 AM

Thanks! God, I wish I had these tools for downloading all my series lol, would've saved me alot of manual work!
My reports on the TV output is as following:
HDMI 720p - 60hz = TV Mode 5 in OverSight (SD)
HDMI 720p - 50hz = TV Mode 6 in OverSight (HD)

All the other stuff I typed / explained is just my observations from the table you linked to.

RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - Inrego - 12-08-2009 01:42 AM

How does the watched / unwatched sorting work? Earlier today i saw "9" (an animated movie), and I launched it through oversight I'm pretty sure, and it's still showing under unwatched. Do I have to see the movie to the end to mark it as watched? Because I always stop the movie when credits start rolling.
Another thing, is it possible to make an index.htm that launches oversight so it launches when I open the internal hd or a folder instead of having to go to webservices (I don't mind going to webservices myself, but I'm not the sole user of the unit, and I like it to be as user friendly as possible)?

RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - lordy - 12-08-2009 02:17 AM

@lexluthor, General Settings -show_episode_titles (I still have to tweak te formatting a little)
Not sure what you mean by 'miss fanart at the third level' - fanart should be displayed at all levels?

@Inrego - watched/unwatched is manual RED/GREEN button. Or the blue tick icon.
Automatic marking has too many edge cases and different use cases to be worth coding at the moment.
Just add a link in your index page to http://127.0.0.1:8883/oversight/oversight.cgi

RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - Inrego - 12-08-2009 04:01 AM

Thanks.
I've got 2 more things, and then I think I've got all the answers I need so far ^^ Sorry, but I just received my PCH recently so much of this is new for me.
I noticed that when I enter for example a tv show, it shows the seasons in a weird order.
Californication is shown like this:
Season 3, Season 1, Season 2

And to complete the wilderness in the seasons order, here's how south park seasons are sorted:
Code:
Season 1    Season 3    Season 4    Season 6    Season 7    Season 9
Season 2    Season 11   Season 5    Season 10   Season 8

Second thing is special characters not being shown correctly. In information etc, it's just showing alot of weird characters instead of a ' (shown in screenshot below)
Other symbols (language specific) like æ,ø and å also have similar problems.

The last thing is tags on episodes. Is there any way I can remove them? It kinda ruins the nice layout on the table'ish list of episodes.
Here's an example of what I mean:
[pr] and [rpk] kinda ruins the nice look.

hello maybe this question is asked before but sometimes the wrong cover is displayed to a movie. is it possible to remove that and how can i make sure that the good cover is selected? is it yet possible to select a cover that i have downloaded?

You can use the soft delete (remove from list or delete/clear once) .. then rescan.. however, make sure the NFO has the correct IMDB link.

You can add the movie poster manually .. look at the Oversight wiki .. I'm sure I've seen Lordy point people there before about this.

+1 for the (pr) (rpk) removal .. what do they mean anyway?

I havent had time to try out the testing version but I've never had the series go out of order like this so maybe a new bug? I have however had the list of seasons in boxset go out of order so that's an old one.

TO Lordy... Oversight really is an awesome program and thanks for the updates

RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - Inrego - 12-08-2009 11:43 AM

@remcodewinter http://code.google.com/p/oversight/wiki/FileNames this article also covers poster naming. The easiest is just downloading a poster to the movie folder and call it poster.jpg (or .png) the same can be done with fanart.jpg/png

@Atinkler - Yes I'm using the beta and I haven't tried the stable one yet (I like finding bugs and report them, so Tongue ). The tags on this screenshot means [pr] = proper and [rpk] = repack

It's important to have bug finders Big Grin I was just pointing out it appears to be a new bug as it's not in the stable but the boxset ordering is Cool

@remcodewinter I thought there was a wiki (nice one Inrego) are you getting the correct plot info? if not maybe change the NFO (as I mentioned) otherwise def much easier to just add your own posters/fanart

RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - Inrego - 12-08-2009 02:24 PM

I wouldn't say that adding your own posters / fanart is easier than the automatic. But it's not hard or anything if the automatic proces didn't download any or if you don't like the ones it downloaded.

Oh, great thanks! Regarding the fanart - it was missing at the time but it fortunately reappeared.

RE: Oversight Jukebox r571-stable - mystery.tipster - 12-08-2009 10:14 PM

Regards to adding the NFO file, where do you put the NFO file and how do you create it?

If I have a movie file called Hellboy and the IDMB id is tt0167190 how do I use this information?

Hoe someone can help

Adam
