What image cache issue?

Is this the fix when browsing YAMJ index.htm with 60+ pages 500+ movies from internal HDD takes more than 5 seconds to change the page, while when browsing the same exact index.htm from a NAS (DNS 323)takes less than 1 second to change the page Undecided? i always thought internal would be faster to process.

Or when index is in the root of a NAS and the NAS is sleeping, going from an index.htm on the HDD to the index.htm on the NAS causes a BSOD (Black Screen of Death) when the NAS takes more than 20 seconds to wake up Dodgy?

What did it fix exactlyHuh?

i would kind of like to know about the image cache issue as well,
Going from some indexes (with large size images) to yamj or movie flow will make the two very slow.

This is great news! I've been waiting for a fix for the Directv receiver conflict.

This update does seem to have cured this, but still i cannot play any of my video_ts files that i did before the March update.

All bar one of my films (50+) state cannot play at the splash screen and return to main menu.

Only one that seems ok was ripped with a full menu by AnyDVD, all others have been ripped with or without menu by DVDShrink (no compression)

Any thoughts anyone ?

Dean.

What happened to:

"7. IDX/SUB Support added back in"

from the beta test thread?

I have a problem downloading the upgrade, the download speed is about 0.2kB per second and is interupted after some time. Can somebody put the file on Usenet / FTP server / Torrent or send to email adres firmware[at]buitenvolleybal.nl?
Do more people have this problem with downloading from http://www.popcornhour.com?

Is it possible to download with a FTP clien from the files.syabas.com at 78.46.71.135? What is the login and password for connecting?
Thanks

Most likely because it's a very difficult feature for them to implement and it's not working yet.
Glad they took it out and released a firmware update rather than postpone until it works, making everyone wait.

I am sure Syabas is putting it back into the beta and continuing to do more work and testing on it.

I installed this last night though it seems that bug fixes are not applicable for my setup and usage. Release Note does mentions that some critical defects have been fixed (point #2) and that reason was good enough for me to update. I have been testing it. So far so good. Haven't noticed any improvement but nothing is broke either.
Thanks Syabas!

This firmware is taking ages to install...Hope it doesnt break my PCH
mmmm...im a little worried. It still says that its downloading the image still. Should it let it finish or turn off the PCH?

I dont want to brick it Sad

I upgrading the firmware via the network. My router is showing network activity to the PCH so maybe its still downloadings.

Ideas/Thoughts?

I would definitely wait some more, waiting won't hurt. And next time I would upgrade using an USB stick.

Same problem seems to be stuck on the updating firmware
downloading image.

Even heard the hard drive spin down this is def no good.

Everything seems to be fine now, hopefully.
