Uk 240v - Akdung - 11-09-2009 12:28 PM hi to all you lucky people who has your popcorn hour. Ive bought 1 a few days ago not sure when i will get it. I live in United Kingdom. will i need a diffrent power addapter for the popcorn hour as we have 240volts overs here? RE: Uk 240v - chris57 - 11-09-2009 12:44 PM All you may need is the usual PC power cable aka a kettle lead. The C200 has the usual 3 prong PSU socket on the rear and the A110 on the PSU that is outside of the unit. Many people with popcorn's, live in the U.K surprisingly..quite a popular gizmo. 240v...No actually thats inaccurate we have and yes I know I'm splitting hairs. Quote Wikipedia "those (like the UK) that had previously used 240 V changed to 230 V +10% −6%" Depending on which popcorn uve got the standard brick should work with a variety of voltages. Check the label of the adapter for more details when it arrives, or seek guidance from a qualified Electrical supplier/engineer. |
