I have exactly the same problem RE: NMT remote iPhone native app. - temm - 03-11-2010 11:51 PM I just uploaded a second update. The first update (V.1.2.5) took care of the configuration save problem. I also added support to utf-8 filenames. Version updates for the app stores needs to go through the approval process so it takes 2-3 days. The second update V1.3.10 (app store versioning system is a bit of a mess) i fixed a bug with the location of busybox26. This was casuing a problem and not playing the selected files. This should be available in a couple of days. Sorry for the inconvenience. My PCH A-200 is on it's way, so i guess next week i'll have it in my hands and start testing. RE: NMT remote iPhone native app. - JonnyRocket - 03-12-2010 01:02 AM I'm having a bit of trouble as well. I have telnet running. I'm able to connect to the PCH from the app. I can view music and other files on the HARD_DISk, but i cannot get anything to play. When i tap into the actual song, i get the play and stop buttons but tapping play doesn't actually do anything. Edit: So, the stop button does work if i already have something playing. Also, all the buttons on the remote tab seem to work, but there is no "enter" button so it seems kind of hard to navigate anywhere. It would be great to be able to control and play media from myiHome as well with this. I don't store anything on the PCH. It all sits on a NAS that is running myiHome, so that app itself is not all that useful for me, but i had to buy it just to play around with. Another Edit: I can build playlists, and i really like the functionality of adding to different lists and the ability to change the current list. However, i can't play a playlist either.

I didn't notice but there was a problem with this since all the tests where done from internal_memory. This also affected the playlists. I've issued an update yesterday V.1.3.10. It should be available in 1-2 days. I also have everything running from my NAS BOX. I haven't used myiHome since this is when you what to access you media from you pc. RE: NMT remote iPhone native app. - JonnyRocket - 03-12-2010 04:17 PM Reading this thread, i see that you already addressed that. My bad. Can't wait to test the updated version. Thanks! Updated to latest revision, but I have the same problems still. If startup location is "Hard disk" I only have NETWORK_SHARE to choose from. No folders on the hard disk are shown. If startup location is "Network" I see 3 out of 7 folders on my network, but when I select a directory I get "The directory is empty"... and they are not empty! I get the content in one of the folders though, but when I press play, nothing happens. RE: NMT remote iPhone native app. - JonnyRocket - 03-13-2010 12:22 AM I also got the update from the Appstore and it didn't fix the problem. Some thing i've noticed is that sometimes it cuts off the first character of the file name in some folders, but not all. Finaly a remote I was looking for... Now using version 1.3.10 Like others I also have the problem with the Media part. Only see NETWORK_SHARE... thats it. No content at all. The Remote part is acting very good, only missing "Enter". Which, I think, is crucial to make it a complete remote control. I didn't knew where busybox is located, so looked with telnet and found it in '//bin/' (busybox not busybox26) Version 1.14.1 Gr. Is the new parameter Hard disk or USB A selected in the Settings Tab? If this is not installed files wont start playing. Ok, I've installed busybox26 also. This version is older than the busybox version I already have. (1.2.1 and 1.14.1). Neverless, still nothing.... Only NETWORK_SHARE. If busybox26 is only for playing files then the problem is not yet busybox because I don't see files to play at all. If startup is Hard disk then I only get NETWORK_SHARE with no content If startup is USB A the I get nothing If startup is Network also nothing I've also installed Mediatank controller to check if that is working. it also needs busybox. This is working... NETWORK_SHARE and HARD_DISK are visable and can browse the HARD_DISK an play files. Gr. P |
