Delays in the final stage of a software release are annoying, but better the release is delayed a few more days than being released prematurely and creating even more annoyances for end users. Just like everyone here I am anxiously waiting on the new firmware, but I also worry that it will introduce a whole set of new problems as there are a whole lot of changes introduced with the new development kit... I am sure the next release thread will be longer than this one in a shorter time frame! The firmware has outgrew its old flashing utility. So they had to update it. This means a more stable way to flash the firmware for everyone. |
