Bug number in firmware release notes - bugtracker ? - Calico - 09-01-2010 07:04 AM

Hello,

When Syabas releases firmwares, we generally see some bug "numbers" in the release notes when there are corrections made about them.

I think that this information comes from a bugtracker or something like this. Is it possible to have an access to it ?

Thank you.

It comes from the internal bug tracker in syabas. We dont have access to it

OK thank you for your reply Smile
It would be useful if it was public, as we could follow the development/correction of a feature/bug Smile Maybe one day...

Beta Testers report their test incidents in MANTIS.... track and tracing is maintained there by the mods...

these reports get transfered into the Syabas part of MANTIS.... and get a different number there..

Some of the bug numbers are from Syabas's internal bug tracking setup, however I thought that I saw one or two from the beta testers bug tracker int he last firmware release notes:-
-Fixed a mp3 with embedded cover art cause crash (Bug #t0000391)
-Fixed DTS-HD changed to PCM after Dolby Digital Analog/PCM selection is changed (Bug #t0000384)

So I think its a bit of a mixture.

You can't have access to any of them though unless you are a beta tester in which case you can get access and add bugs to the beta testing one after you have confirmation from others that the issues exists or files to uplooad.
