I can see the mediaserver portion of my Maxtor NAS though. I tried loading a previous working version of my C-200 firmware but that didn't solve the problem. I have tried rebooting everything too.

Did the UpnP (DLNA) service running?
My C-200 was hanging after lauching NMJ a few time a day Sad with the last firmware i don't have this issue

Ian_m: may it be that your issue is like this I have (Sample MKV included)?

http://networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=46983

I didn't try going back to May FW yet but I recall that my issue appeard around Agust FW...

(12-09-2010 12:22 AM)ian_m Wrote:  Nope didn't fix jumpy 25fps MKV's.

First broke in Aug firmware, present in Oct, Nov and now Dec, renders my UK sourced MKV's collection unwatchable...please fix.

Updated on-line (so I assume I got Dec update) then updated apps from USB stick.

Had to revert back to May to watch programmes tonight, all played perfectly smooth with May firmware.

Will try again tomorrow and see if power cycling and or setup fiddling can fix the 25fps MKV issue.

New firmware NMJ - from 98 of my movies now showing 92, but 40% of the wall mode without the pictures (cowerart), list mode displays them all!
NMJ in the internal hdd of 23 films showing only 19 in each mode, but if I go in "search" displays all the movies (the ones not shown otherwise)
Last firmware was showing all the images from the movies, but also did not show all the movies from the folder (all are correctly written movie name.year)

Have you check the TV section?

I've noticed a random issue with this latest FW..
I have all my files in a NAS and PCH is wired to a switch. The switch is wired to a repeater which connects wireless to my router. so ultimately the connection is not fast since it is wireless.

Some avi files often stop showing subs... If I stop and start again then they show again. Also some files have stopped playing at a certain point. The same files play OK on my PC and also OK when I transfer them to a usb stick and plug it to my PCH.. It is not a network problem since it is happening to only a few files (actually just two till now..)

And I have a question: I noticed that Network shares are at /opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/. But what text editor can I use to view/edit them?

Try VI if you are running GNU/Linux or Notepad++ for Windows

Hi there and thanks for the reply.
I telnet my C-200 and I follow these steps:
Quote:1. sh-3.00# cd /opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/
2. sh-3.00# ls
INSOMNIANAS MUSIC NETWORK_BROWSER
3. sh-3.00# vi MUSIC
sh: vi: command not found
So, you see that there is no vi.. I also tried joe and nano but no luck..
I saw that they are directories, but either way vi is not present.. Is there another way to edit/add network shares via command line?

hmm it seems that vi was disabled Sad
Why not just downloading and edit the file to your computer and after that uploading it via FTP?

I guess I'll have to do something like that...
But ftping using nmt/1234 won't allow me to enter /opt..

Ok so try mounting the nmt disk to your GNU/Linux box, you would be able to mount it Smile
