RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101206-21-POP-408 (02-04-101104-21-POP-408 Apps) (08.12.2010) - tiefling - 01-01-2011 01:41 AM My setup has been experiencing some severe problems since the December Firmware update... 1) I keep getting HDMI drop outs (although wether this is linked to the PCH or not is dubious) 2) I can't shut it down!!! Pressing the power button and holding it, which used to execute the shutdown process now just seems to kill the power. My NMT is becoming increasingly unstable due to this issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on any workarounds I could use to deal with the power problem - This is driving me nuts!!? PS: I installed the update to get the NMJ improvements for my music collection (I have about 1,300 albums). It appears that after about 1,000 NMJ becomes so slow as to be unusable. I've had to shelve this for performance upgrades. Power + delete on the remote? That's a new one on me - I'll give it a try. With the new firmware I get 1 second where my receiver says 5.1 LPCM, stutters and switches back to stereo. The DD and DTS do play fine in 5.1, so it's probably not my setup. With previous firmwares I didn't see this problem either. Anyone that has success playing 5.1 LPCM from BD? This was never a problem in earlier versions so I assume it's a bug :-( RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101206-21-POP-408 (02-04-101104-21-POP-408 Apps) (08.12.2010) - halfelite - 01-02-2011 12:51 AM (01-01-2011 04:27 PM)tiefling Wrote: Power + delete on the remote? I have the correct Apps and firmware however when i hit any key i get a request cannot be processed and have to reboot to scroll back to the maintenance page. I have tried several reboots and have tried a fresh install on the usb drive. I tried to go back to an older firmware before the NMJ introduction and i get an error that the update is not valid. I have one internal drive and have reformatted it through the maintenance function. Thanks in advance RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101206-21-POP-408 (02-04-101104-21-POP-408 Apps) (08.12.2010) - halfelite - 01-03-2011 06:54 AM (01-03-2011 05:23 AM)bsb137 Wrote: I updated to the new Firmware and nothing is working. NMJ is only HDtv RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101206-21-POP-408 (02-04-101104-21-POP-408 Apps) (08.12.2010) - JockJam - 01-03-2011 09:15 AM Last weekend I noticed that I cannot change the SRT subtitle position on the screen. Has anyone also noticed this? My C200 is patched at current FW level. So I downgraded to last October firmware and well my c-200 connected in no time and my mac address was ending at 75 once again! my question though, how is it possible that c-200 detects a different mac address for itself with different firmwares?? is it a bug? anyway I have to stick to the October firmware for now.. The answer is it isn't a bug, just a change that wasn't in the release notes. The solution is somewhere earlier in this thread. Because there is multiple mac address. Technically the wired port and the MII port which is what the wireless card plugs into share the same MAC chip that is located on the c200 board itself as both the wired and wireless are what they call PHY they just make the physical connection to your network. Before the New firmware they were using the mac address of the PHY wifi card. They switched it over to use the Internal mac address for reasons they are not saying. More then likely it will have to do with new apps coming to the market. So its best to upgrade and just change your network to the normal mac address RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101206-21-POP-408 (02-04-101104-21-POP-408 Apps) (08.12.2010) - kirby_blue - 01-04-2011 01:12 PM Probably already mentioned but sorry I'm too lazy to read through the whole thread: with this rev, volume increments 2 by 2 which is nonsense IMHO. I get this if I use eyecontroller app from my phone but a reboot sorts it. It was happening in the previous firmware too so I've give up on the app and things are fine. Are you bog standard remote or trying fancy apps from android/iphone? RE: [C-200] Firmware 02-04-101206-21-POP-408 (02-04-101104-21-POP-408 Apps) (08.12.2010) - 5IsAlive - 01-07-2011 04:53 AM Oh yeah, I upgraded to the December FW. Almost everything is working fine, except when I go into the NMJ and launch an ISO movie, the C-200 takes about 3-5mins before it will process a command from the remote. E.G. When I start a movie and press the STOP or PAUSE button on the remote... the movie keeps playing for about 3-5mins, then the commands are executed. But when I launch the movie from the list mode (pre-NMJ), any commands that are pressed on the remote are executed immediately. Thus, everything else seems to be working fine. I hope that this is resolved soon, as I might have to go back to my MCE box. -SPOCK'N'SPACE |
