I just read in the release notes for the new C200 FW that it will support 3D!!!

Question: What exactly? Like the PS3 "real 3D" 1080/24p frame packet but without HD sound duo HDMI 1.3 limitation or only SBS?

Here is the things that we need fix ASAP. It used to work fine until new firmware come along. It is major feature and I don't know why it is not working.

1. Dolby True HD down convert to Dolby Digital.
2. Don't detect External Subtitle either .sub or .srt
3. Cannot reduce size of Subtitle nor can change color of the font.
4. Goto 10%, 20%, 30% .......... not accurate like the old firmware.
5. Freezing up big time and much more often the machine reboot.

1. hope they are working it it.
2. external srt still works fine here
3. under the subtitle menu while playing take it off auto and you can adjust color and size again. the option is still there.
4. dont use trick play much
5. I have had my pch on since this relase and not froze once.

Lucky you then. Seriously, I'm usually not the one to bitch and I'm still very happy with my PCH 99% of the time, but: I've already had more lockups and reboots with this firmware than in the whole year before. Things that worked always perfectly (like DVD-Images) suddenly cause a hard lock when changing the audio track for example. Even my girlfriend is complaining (for the first time ever). Still love my PCH though, and I'm keeping my hopes up for the next one.

External .srt working fine here also, except for BD folder with NMJ.

Reencode srt file to match ANSI encoding. Works for me.

Are you using torrents on your C200? If so, it is a known issue related with torrent download speed. Usually limiting speed to 3Mbps helps, sometimes you need to limit it even more, try and learn Smile

I reverted back to August firmware, as that one is the last one for me that works properly.

I use retail BD of The Fifth Element to test the firmware for PCM 5.1 audio.

Still works on current public firmware.

I just started this firmware update.

It downloaded successfully, and now my C-200 has been stuck on "Programming firmware..." for about five minutes.

Any suggestions? The animation is no longer moving, I'm not getting a % complete, or anything like that.

EDIT: I used Recovery Mode and I'm now updating the firmware again. It looks like it's going okay this time.

I have a minor issue: i have installed time ago the apple trailers web service. It didn't worked at that time and it didn't work now. The problem is: since the latest firmware and CSI update, the apple service don't appear anymore in the installed apps but is actually in the c200 menu (with a strange name, someting like apple%20trailer%201..).

How do i get rid of it?

Open srt file with notepad. Click file --> save as.
As saving window appears, you can find a selection "encoding" in the bottom of the window. Choose ANSI (UTF-8 should work also), save and overwrite the previous version. Done.

Hello everybody. I setted the speed of PCH200 network card with 10/100 settings, but I have a low speed transfer (1..2 MB/s) in my Home LAN. The distance from PCH and PC is 2 meters and one switch. Is something to do for speed up the transfers, because a MKV movie is so big and is taking so much time to transfer...
