Bit Torrent 'max upload rate' setting being ignored - VSJ725 - 07-19-2008 07:05 AM

Hi all,

Under Setup -> NMT Applications -> Torrent Settings, I set the max upload rate to 20 kbps. However, my Popcorn Hour is still allowing uploads of more than 100 kbps, which is killing my network performance.

Is there something else I need to do to make my setting take effect, or does the current PCH firmware ignore that setting in the torrent setup?

I second this and confirm it.

Although I suppose it should be in the A100 bug report forum. Ahh well Smile

I didn't know if it was a bug or if I was just missing something in the setup. I pretty much have to shut down the bit torrent client on the PCH if I want to use my computer.

I set the max upload rate to 75 kbps, and I have never seen the upload rate go above the limit.

I got it to work. Looks like I needed to stop and restart the bit torrent service to get the change to take effect.
