[A-110] How to switch off correctly Transmission Torrent

Hi:
First of all. My name is Laertes, writing from Spain (please, sorry for my poor English). Congratulations, it´s a great forum.
A new A-110 came two weeks ago and I´m using Transmission torrent client. My NMT has a switch off button in the backside.
The question is, how is the best way to switch off de A-110 while is runnig Transmission?

Red button + delete from the remote...?
Goto setup > NMT applications an switch off de Torrent aplication first?
Just press the switch off button in the back?
