You can use the inbuilt usenet downloader for newsgroups. There are also RSS apps like NMTDVR and Feedtime for downloading direct with the C200 without the need for any PC.

Well i tried with another PSU but my C200 power button still turns steady white all the time. So i guess this is not a PSU problem but rather a MB problem? Sigh.

Steady white is the normal ON state.

Hello,
I've just update to this firmware and apps.
The process was ok but after the reboot, I have not HDMI output.
There is a picture on the CVBS output but nothing on HDMI (I've tried the TV-Mode and setup section but nothing change).

So I've tried to restore the 110422 firmware and it makes an error0031.
Is there a way to restore this good firmware or should I wait with my bricked Popcorn until a new firmware comes ?

Thanks

I have a problem,a have a 2.5 hd 1 tb on sata1 and a 3.5 2tb on sata2.
When a play music mp3 file, a movie mkv file, from the 2.5 hd it about 10 a 20 minuts it stops.
I power down the popcorn and restart, and can play the files to the next time.
The 3.5 hd, i have not tested.

You people talk in riddles!!
Will somebody PLEASE give a simple step-by-step instruction as to how to get this damn pile of crap to work properly without resorting to technobabble.

I have an internal USB stick with my NMT apps on. Everything was working fine until I did an update, and then they all stopped. I have wiped the stick, tried full resets, removed both the stick and hard drive and tried to do network update (none available), local update from a stick (verification error) or running the data from a stick (Error031) Nothing works.

What is the point of having a network box when it can't see anything, and nothing can see it?

Will somebody please explain in simple English what needs to be done.
Rob

Sounds like you need to do some reading. I suggest you start here;-
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i...stallation
If the page is tagged 100 series skip it.

It also sounds like you have updated just the firmware and not the NMT Apps. To update the NMT Apps you need to use the apps posted in this post:-http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=52601&pid=489724#pid489724
or via online.

Both methods explained in English here:-

I've done all that.
Why am I expected to "read all that"?

The very first line:
<i>"unistall LTU package with the CSI App - removing the HDD won't work because maybe the LTU change also parts inside the NAND."</i>
WTF is that!!? Since when was that English?

I bought a box to watch movies on, not learn how to program Linux source code. It would help if people didn't label the firmware and the apps with the same filename. All I want are two matching pieces of software that actually work together. Is that so difficult?

I'm sorry if I sound rude about this, but I have been going round in circles on these websites for weeks while my expensive machine sits collecting dust. Doesn't this crummy company have a proper support line rather than having to rely on other users? If this was Sony or Panasonic I sure as hell wouldn't have to suffer this.

Sadly I have to say I had no luck with either of the procedures described before.

No LTU installed, HDD disconnected, ... Still getting ERR059
Undecided
