RE: [transmission] Transmission 1.42 / 1.50 beta2
Hello,
Recently got my PCH A-110 and still learning how to manage it ![]() I'm sorry that I have not read through all posts (37 pages) in this thread and perhaps it is already answered but my question is whether it is possible to connect to Clutch interface in PCH from a remote PC outside home network, e.g., from my work PC, etc? My idea is that I would like to connect to my PCH at home from work PC over the web and for example start/stop/manage my torrent downloads (seeding/leeching), etc. I still use built in Transmission 1.22 and considering to upgrade to 1.4. I can connect now to Clutch Web UI within my Wi-Fi home network (192.168.x.xxx:8077) and would like to do that also from my work PC for example through my "outside" IP xx.xx.xxx.xxx:8077 but I can't. Is it possible at all? Perhaps I did wrong configuration of my W-Fi router (not correct port forwarding)? Now I forwarded port 8881 because within PCH menus I found that it is torrent port. Thanks for the help! Hi again! Right after posting this I tried to change port in my Wi-Fi router from 8881 to 8077 and IT WORKS finally!!! I can manage now my torrents from my work! So far so good ![]() Now additional questions: 1. Can I change the default password 1234 of Clutch interface to another one? 2. Will all this work if I upgrade from 1.22 to 1.4 version? 3. Is it possible to start seeding also previously downloaded files from Transmission? For exmple, in uTorrent I can add torrent file and if it "sees" the previously downloaded movie file it checks it and starts seeding (I resume building my rating). Is it possible with Transmission? Thanks again! (01-21-2009 10:42 AM)sisuntas Wrote: Hello, |
