I really don't want to rush 1.62. You might want to patch 1.61 with http://trac.transmissionbt.com/changeset...f&new=8400 which fixes the upload problem.

No worries, your work is very much appreciated. I'll add that patch this evening. I think what Peppin and Jump7 are seeing is something different.
I looked in the repository log and noticed a lot more users installed 1.61 with not problems apparently.

Can anybody here confirm that 1.61 works? (no torrent upload of course).

Upgraded from last version.

Please use the uninstall first, then install it again.
I am able to install and upgrade from 1.60 to 1.61.
