Few newbie questions

Im new to the popcorn thing and I just wanted to ask some questions before I actually make a purchase.

1. I saw that the description says it needs a internal hd. So does that mean I need to go and buy a Internal Hd for it work? Or could I just use the external Hd I currently have right now.

2.Does it support 5.1 DTS?

3. And about when is the next batch going to come out?

1. You don't need a hard disk for it to work. You will need an internal one to use the NMT apps like Bittorrent, Samba and FTP server. As long as your external is USB it will work.

2. Yes and no. It won't downsample to stereo or such but will pass it through to a receiver that is capable of decoding it.

3. Don't have the answer for that....
