During installation my .nzbget/nzb directories were created in the root of my PCH. I assume I should move them so that they reside in the download directory?

Sorry my mistake. It is /share/.nzbget/nzb where /share is the root of your hard drive. Dont change anything Smile

RE: [nzbget] Automated downloading from tvnzb.com or newzleech.com
Looking at it I must have a problem.

I can click on the purple links for an individual nzb and away it goes.

When I click 'reset' followed by 'check for nzb' I get:-

/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Apps/tvnzb/tvnzb.sh: line 959: cannot create /share/.nzbget/nzb/#a.b.mm@efnet - req 65476 - Friday.Night.Lights.S03E10.HDTV.XviD-BitMeTV - [01/34] - Friday.Night.Lights.S03E10.HDTV.XviD-BitMeTV.nfo.nzb: nonexistent directory

09:00 Thu 11 : Starting mode=LIVE : last link = 8751634

So its picking up Friday Night Lights but saying that the directory:
share/.nzbget/nzb
doesnt exist.
I do have a that directory otherwise I wouldn't be able to download individual nzb's from the purple match links.

RE: [nzbget] Automated downloading from tvnzb.com or newzleech.com
I just clicked on your sig link and download from the first link in this line:-

download thee following zip file TvNzb.zip. I have also put up a 7zip file just in case.

So I clicked & downloaded the TvNzb.zip files via DAP. I take it the second word should be 'the' rather than 'three'?

I'll use the purple links it generates until the new version, is there an actual webpage with the different versions/changelogs etc.

Looking at my tvnzb webpage I can see its V20081205-1

Just uploaded a newer version with bugs fixed. Dated today.

I did some quick sanity testing on it, and all feeds seem to be downloading ok now.

Sorry for the aggro, but I'll have to let the community do my in-depth testing,

so I have time to get the new unpak script out for crimbo ! [and also do day job Wink ]

[Good stuff. Not a fan of Britannia High then Big Grin

I haven't got a status web page yet. Once it settles down and is usable/robust, then I'll start listing version history after that...

RE: [nzbget] Automated downloading from tvnzb.com or newzleech.com
I downloaded and installed version V20081211-1. When I go into Configure and try to set the three parameters, I cannot get the download directory setting to "stick." That box (downloadDir) appears empty after a page refresh. Also, the source setting defaults back to TVBINZ even though I have selected TVNZB as my source. I do get a confirmation that I have made the changes.

Also, I am getting this error when I try a test pattern:

awk: cmd. line:52: Unexpected end of string
/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Apps/tvnzb/tvnzb.sh: line 972: _BACKPAGES: not found

RE: [nzbget] Automated downloading from tvnzb.com or newzleech.com
Something has gone wrong with your config file. Delete it and it will create a new one .. but...
before you do that I spotted a major bug that was causing nzbs to download to the log file rather than the download area.

Not sure how that happened but I've fixed it with the latest version 1212-1

Sorry Chris, no programs in the morning Sad

RE: [nzbget] Automated downloading from tvnzb.com or newzleech.com
I installed the latest version 1212-1.

Installation goes well and I get the "installation complete" page. But when I go to "show webservice list" and then "TvNZB" (via my TV) I receive "Request cannot be processed."

Needless to say, I get a 404 error when I attempt to access tvnzb via the web interface as well.

Q1 What version of NMT do you have?

Q2 How to you transfer the files to your NMT? What zip programs etc?

Q3 Have you tried using the 7z archive ( Get the unzipper from http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z462.exe )

Q4 Can you telnet in.If so what is the last 4 lines shown for each of the following 3 commands:

/opt/sybhttpd/default/tvnzb.cgi
/share/Apps/tvnzb/tvnzb.cgi
sh /share/Apps/tvnzb/tvnzb.cgi

Cheers

RE: [nzbget] Automated downloading from tvnzb.com or newzleech.com
Same here after install and reboot I get the 'request' screen and 404 on the web browser on my PC.

Thats using the zip link off to try the 7zip one now.

edit update
With the 7zip file I unrared and checked permissions, this time I had to change to allow read&execute but after that it worked fine. Perhaps the zip has an error in it and the 7zip doesnt.

RE: [nzbget] Automated downloading from tvnzb.com or newzleech.com
I installed telnet on my PCh today in order to provide ydrol the results of the commands he asked for. To install the telnet client, I followed the excellent instructions provided on this page.

On that page the author explains, "Because WinZIP has a tendency to corrupt *.cgi files, please rename telnet-installer.cgi-RENAME-ME.bin to telnet-installer.cgi."

It must be a common problem so I would like to ask ydrol how he would feel about sending future updates with the *.cgi file renamed to a *.bin file and amending his instructions accordingly?
