RE: sisvel licence
I remember my invoice inside the unit was headed with the PopcornHour logo. Is there not some small print on the invoice to show that PCH is a trading company of Syabas?

The Website at PCH states:-

Popcorn Hour is a product brand for Syabas Technology's own Digital Media Streaming device. Syabas Technology is a leading software and middleware solution provider in wired / wireless Digital Home as well as Digital Signage applications.

Popcorn Hour and NMT logo are trademarks of Syabas Technology Inc., registered in the U.S.

Red tape annoys the hell out of me and I work for the government!

Keep at them it must be imminent. Werner is over in China at the moment and fully understands the problem with the EU being like us a European.

Usualy the CI looks as you write. Popcorn Hour logo at the top, and seller data with Syabas name in "From" section. But my last invoice, to the order that is stopped at the customs, has no Syabas seller, and from is "Popcorn Hour". But I hope it will not be a problem.
Today Sisvel ask as to wait for next one-two days, they have to check it all.

The latest news from Sisvel: Till Syabas contract is not signed, they treat devices as unlicensed and cannot allow it to go throught the customs. No way :-(

This mean that from NMT with Syabas firmware, only PH have this licence?
The others NMTs with Syabas firmware don't have it?

enjoy,

RE: sisvel licence
I would have thought not, whilst syabas supply the board, I can bet they don't supply the DTS licence with it, so I wouldn't expect them to supply the sisvel licence either.

Different distributors have different requirements.

Samsung PS51d8000, Onkyo 509, Tannoy EFX5.1, Xbox 360, Popcornhour C200, Sky+HD, Wii, Harmony one

Starts to work. Today Sisvel confirmed at the customs, that our stopped order can be released now.

Regard other NMT hardware suppliers - I have heard, that EGreat started same process as Syabas had just finished...
