Popcorn Hour reading an optical drive?

If I plug in an External CD drive can it read files off of the CD or DVD? Not DVD movies just files on optical media.

Well when I posted it the forum was responding so slowly that I couldn't get a search to complete.
The answer seems to be yes based of the indirect evidence that I search up. Hopefully thats the correct answer before I spend $200 |

No retails discs only none CSS and none protected discs. No retails BD discs only burnt BD with data files.
