Path too deep error message
I keep getting the error message "cannot copy bnecause the path is too deep"
I have a popcorn hour a110 set up with the recommended wireless dongle. Any one have any ideas how I can get round this. I'm also finding my popcorn hour is very tempremental - it locks up wont shut down sometimes takes aged to wake up. Does everyone have these sort of problems or have I a duff machine? |

RE: Path too deep error message
Windows XP limits paths to a maximum of 255 characters.
I assume you're doing this through SMB? The SMB will probably have to conform to windows rules when it comes to path length rules. Not sure if ext3 has the same limitation. |
