What exactly are the "sigma libs" and what do they do to help?
I keep seeing posts talking about "sigma libs" and how they are hopefully coming soon, etc...

Can someone please explain what they are and how will they better the PCH?

Thank you!

Well i can't say i know much about them but what i do know is they're basicly going to bring a local databasing to the NMT's so which will improve browsing, and browsing speed.

In terms of a jukebox a database would potentially let you create dynamic indexing.

Meaning you could have a template html file. And instead of having YAMJ scan your entire collection to determine its contents and create files for each movie, the popcornhour would be aware of your collection and be able to input the information directly into the template html file.

(i think Smile )

Ya, i mean i know its not gonna impliment a jukebox into the NMT...

But i know he's a jukebox user so i was trying to put it into terms of how it MIGHT be usefull to us jukebox guys down the road. Smile
