Great job, I was going to give up with transmission 1.50 because I could not get it installed via FTP as I did with Transmission 1.42, but this great program DID IT ALL.

Thanks to Ger Teunis.

Syabas, this person is doing a really hard and great work.

Is this a bug - when its done installing it defaults to opening the webpage:
http://pch-a110:9091/transmission/web/
instead of what i entered (192.168.1.15) in the start of the application?

Yep, that's a bug indeed. Nice find. After starting it the second time this bug will disappear. Will add it to the todo list.

RE: [CSI] ***UPDATED*** Community software installer 1.6.1
I have a question, i had noticed the past day or so that transmission wasn't working properly, the web interface would just give out within the first 10 seconds of use after a reboot of the PCH a110.

I could still use ftp on the pch and it worked, even watch the movies too.
everything was fine but transmission wasn't working.

When i took a look at the community installer today i realized it wasn't connecting online, so i took a look and downloaded the new version.

i dont know how it fixed it, might be directly related DONT FLAME, but after installing the new version of Community installer and browsing the apps i again tried to access transmission on my browser and it worked! cool...

so how does community installer do this?? i thought the programs were installed on the PCH, i dont see how the community installer has to have access for my transmission to work, unless in running the program off of a server? i'm confusedUndecided

someone please explain. Thanks!

EDIT: Turns out after the update it still does the same thing, except this time it actually started the downloads and then just stopped after about 10minutes Sad

Please use the option "Remove custom menu" from the "Extra" menu and follow instructions. This will remove your custom menu and revert back to the original.

Some people are reporting some transmission performance issues with torrent with high number of peers/seeds. CSI has nothing to do with that Smile The developers of transmission are looking into that, hopefully they will fix it in the 1.51 release.

Ohh, I forgot to mention. The installer will not display a message when a new repository file is available anymore, it will silently download the new repository file. The only way for you to tell if a new version of repository is been released is by inspecting the repository date on the welcome screen.

Changing the buffering image doesn't seem to work here, even after a reboot. I have a PCH-A100 and wanted to change it in the 'color' loading screen.

Could you post the contents of the file start_app.sh and the contents of the folder /Photo/_waitimages_/ ?

Sadly that file can be all over the place if you have the installer version installed (windows manages this by itself).
Please search you c:\ drive for ErrorLog.csv

Do you have SkinManager installed?

Skin manager causes that problem, I am considering to remove skinmanager for the time being because more people will encounter this.
Technical details> the CSI tries to delete the current theme before installing the new one, but because skinmanager is integrated in there the CSI is not able to cleanout the current skin.

Ok, I understand. Thanks for your quick replies.
