RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 1.7.2 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Hello Ger,
Can I noticed that if we would too uninstall an application for example like oversight there is no option too do that. is it possible to do that in the future withe an update of CSI cause we installed the apps also with CSI.. That would be great.. The thing is now after the new firmware some options will not work. Like now my internet radio(that came with the new firmware) does not work. Okay for now Best Regards, Charles Popcornhour A110 + A300 2 TB Samsung Spinpoint 46 inch Samsung A656 Onkyo TX - SR 606 Internet Broadband 120Mbit (ZIGGO) |

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 1.7.2 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
A problem also here:
I see this all 99% of the time: ![]() Then I installed Microsoft Net 2.0 and it worked for a few minutes but now I see this error again all the time. I managed to install a theme and some webservices but now again this error... The error log says this: Can't connect to Main repository server The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\Wouter\Desktop\NMTCommunityInstallerPortable\NMTCommunityInstaller1_7_2\Repository\RepositoryInfo.zip' because it is being used by another process. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) - at System.IO.File.Delete(String path) - at com.nmtinstaller.csi.Utilities.HttpCommands.DownloadHTTPFileAndExtract(String completeURL, String LocalFolder, Boolean ClearTemp, ProgressChanged OnProgressChanged) - at com.nmtinstaller.csi.Utilities.Repository.DownloadRepositoryFiles(String repositoryName, String repositoryUrl) Help.... cause this program is just soooo nice and now this happens. |

That could also work ![]() I meant the mono appsettings store for this application. Normally a user.config will be stored in a hidden folder in your home. This contains the URL of the main repository. For some reason this configuration is corrupt (i think). Code: home folder/.local/share/Ger Teunis/NMT Community Software Installer.exe_StrongName_<random string>/<random string>/<random string>/user.configCode: <setting name="RepositoryInfoURL" serializeAs="String">the value for the repository URL got removed after first run it seems as witnessed above so its trying to reach a non-existent URL. what is the repo URL? I will add it into the user.config file and see if it runs. EDIT: that didnt work assuming the repo URL is http://repository.nmtinstaller.com/RepositoryInfo.zip |

I can now reach the repo, but when doing an install I get this: ![]() now Im at a a loss |

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 1.7.2 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Please post the errorlog.csv file.
I am getting the feeling that the OSX's version of Mono is far from stable. Somebody posted some screenshots of the OSX a while ago: some controls I explicitly disable where still visable, corrupting user settings files. They need to do some more work. We could try to figure out what is going on and report it back to the mono community. (04-07-2009 03:04 PM)Damien Wrote: Adding the repo fixed it, I had whitespace between the URL and closing tag. RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 1.7.2 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Still have the same error as above.
Tried on 2 different laptops with Vista and one desktop with XP. All same error. Strange thing is that after closing the error and trying again it SOMETIMES suddenly works. Then we tried the program on a CLEAN XP all works 100% ok.(see below) Virtual PC 2007 SP1 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...n#filelist Only install .net 2.0 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...laylang=en Download free XP VHD: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...n#filelist So on a "normal" xp or vista there is SOMEthing installed the screws up the program. |

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 1.7.2 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Most likely a too aggressive firewall.
Everybody reading this: the above error is just a generic error message. The real technical error is logged in a files called ErrorLog.csv file. The above error message is completely useless for me to use for debugging. It's just a hint for people, stuff they should check first. So, please post the errorlog.csv contents otherwise I am not able to help you out with the above message. For you wep: please disable any 3rd party applications, especially firewalls and try again.
