RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.1.5 (Win/Linux/OSX/Web/NMT)
You're welcome. All the work has been done by the hosting provider where the servers are running.
For any free users where it still doesn't work: start a command prompt in windows (in administrator mode for vista) and execute: ipconfig /flushdns (or wait a few hours more) Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |

Hate to be a bearer of bad news, but I'm not able to connect to the new server (I'm in USA). Ping goes no where, and tracert dies as such:

Just sat down to note that your ping was going to a different IP than mine, and decided to give it another shot... works fine now

That would be really bad if this server was blocked in another country / hosting provider

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.1.5 (Win/Linux/OSX/Web/NMT)
Attention everybody
A new nzbget is going to be added tomorrow in CSI. The update via CSI will reset your NZB's config so you need to configure you news server again. This is done because a lot of users still seem to have an slightly bad configuration, the new package will have better default configuration. Configuration after upgrade I'd suggest using the "setup" link on the web interface to configure the newsserver's address ("NZBGET-SERVER" -> "NEWS-SERVERS") etc and not edit directly in the config file anymore. After configuring the newsserver you need to use the "shutdown" button in nzbget webinterface and after that "start" button that will appear. Alternatively you can use CSI to restart nzbget. This version is equipped with an unpak script (also created by hugbug), so no configuration required anymore. Oversight is a good application to provider unpak and much more, reinstall Oversight after the update if you have Oversight installed at this moment. Technical info: the unpak is configured in "POSTPROCESSING" settings of "NZBGET-SERVER" and not in "CONFIGURATION OF POSTPROCESSING-SCRIPT" of the webinterface settings. RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.1.5 (Win/Linux/OSX/Web/NMT)
Hello everyone,
I just bought this little marvel that is the pch a-110. And I am very happy to see that there is a very willing community moding tools for it (in fact it is a lie, I knew it before buying it since one of my best friends has shown me the tools and this forum and this was what decided me to buy one). < /mylife> I have tried to install a few things using CSI and I am not very successful for now. CTorrent worked fine, ldvd also, and Skin Manager 2.6 had errors after installation (mv : cannot move a directory (linked to torrents if I remember well, stupid me I didn't save the error)). My main problem is that it is not installed and will not install again (says it is already installed). I have tried the "Clean" command and it did not work, keeps saying it is already installed (the NMT re-installed everything after a reboot), in fact it worked, but it is obviously not enough). I have tried the "DeepClean" command and it did nothing. After a reboot of the NMT, no request to install the standard apps again. I have tried to force it, but it tells everything is updated and there is nothing new. Tried the Clean again after this and it re-installs everything. DeepClean again, nothing happened (I'm used to check things twice before saying it doesn't work). Is there a known issue with the DeepClean command ? Is there a "remove specific app" planned in CSI in future upgrades ? (thinking about it, this would force mods devs to plan themselves some king of rollback, since removing is not the only thing to do, there is probably a "rename content" back to do also). Is there a simple way to remove completely Skin Manager (or any app) so I can try to install it again ? (did not use telnet since my studies, 11 years ago) Thanks from advance, and sorry if I ask things answered somewhere else, I am a bit lost with this forum search. Cheers, RedSoy |

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.1.5 (Win/Linux/OSX/Web/NMT)
Hi Redsoy,
SkinManager is an application which doesn't integrate very well in the CSI at the moment. Also other problems with skins might occur when using Skin Manager. CSI already can uninstall apps, most of them. Some applications (if I am corrent also SkinManager) aren't updated to the new application format. Regarding the DeepClean: I will have to look into that, it should function fine though. So in short: uninstall works for applications, except for some 'old' applications. The old applications do not have a star [*] in from of their name in the first post, look there for more information. This only issue here is DeepClean, I'll have to take a look into that. RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.1.5 (Win/Linux/OSX/Web/NMT)
Hi, just installed CSI today.
Having a bit trouble with some applications not installing or uninstalling properly. Seeing Ger Teunis's recent post, I can only guess that there's some transitioning going on between an old version and a new version and that not all developers have updated their packages (yet?)? Could this cause my trouble? For example; installing aMule and/or TorrentWatch will not change their 'State' (stays on "Not Installed"). Installation/Uninstallation works fine for DropBear/Transmission/Llink (presumably; only uninstalled LLink though to test). Also, TorrentWatch seems to be broken, but that's something I'll look into tomorrow. |
