Well regarding the 777...

I'm not sure to be honest...i installed it with the community installer and i got a permissions error. So i ftp'd in, and saw the folder was 777. But i did a recurse all files and subdirectories to be sure (i didn't examine any particular files for 777). And it worked fine after that.

Regarding the buffer screen...

Thats fair enough...if we can find someone to make a copy/replace script for the installer would you be interested in adding it?

I think essentially what it'll take is specifying the file you want to use, and then a script to copy/replace the stock PCH image. And perhaps save the original in a 'backup' folder.

I'll give it a wild stab...or find someone to help me. Is there anything specific we'd need to do to interface it with your installer?
