Thanks update worked!
Installed Calm 2 this morning!

Which is great except how do I define where my index filesare. I get errors when selecting Movies or TV Shows. Rebooted the popcorn but didn't get time to recheck b4 I left to work. Will check tonight.

i haven't tried installing from the community installer, but essentially you need to edit the variable in the index.htm file.

Indeed I'm using the Transmission torrent app. Do you mean I need to strart the standard Usenet app (NMT apps) or install & run the NBZGET app?

You're not a big fan of trying out yourself are you?
Please just enable Usenet in your setup and try setting up again.

Hello Ger Teunis.

Installing telnet prevents NMT to be connected as USB slave. I found the solution in this thread. Especially post #23. This solved the problem.

Maybe you can include this in your installer-script...

Sure, the current portable version works on my Ubuntu 8.10.
(installing themes doesn't work yet).

But you'll need, at least, have the following packages installed.
- libgluezilla
- libmono-winforms2.0-cil.
- libgdi

Please keep me posten how this is working out for you!
If it is not working: please start a console and type
mono -v (application.exe)
Replace the application.exe with the real NMT application installer exe filename and post the results back to me.

That's alot ;-)
It seems you need at least mono 2.0.1 (and all sub packages as well).
I have:
libgluezilla 2.0-1
xulrunner 1.9.0.5
libgdiplus 2.0-1
libmono-microsoft7.0 2.0.1
libmono-winforms2.0-cil 2.0.1-0
libmono-webbrowser0.5-cil

Please check if you also have the webbrowser lib installed and try to update to 2.0.1
