Hi Rabside, I used the default repository from ubuntu 8.10. Installing is tricky because you need a couple of extra libs like xulrunner, libgluezilla etc. But there is hope for you. The upcoming version should work a lot better with the default mono installation. Version 1.7.0 is just around the corner, perhaps I'll contact you to do some testing if you like.
