I think you ended up with an system which contains a combination of the old and new system.

I cannot imagine why the webservices disappear, perhaps I made an error in the latest appinit.cgi version. Let me check upon that.

I would really suggest using the "Deep Clean" options on your NMT because your NMT seems to be in a completely messed up state. Better to start from scratch. Read the first post of this topic regarding clean and deep clean.
