Hello Ger,

Thanx for your reply. I downloaded and installed newer telnet and tried it out, but no, I still cannot use usb slave.

I also tried reinstalling nmt apps (clean) but that didn't work either!
So I reinstalled the new apps (latest transmission and telnet), but no luck there.

How can I check that the hdx does not use the harddisk when I disconnected hdmi and network cable ? ie: how can I monitor that system is properly shutting down ? I tried a ps command via telnet when the machine was still attached, just to see if there were processes running that are not 'regular' ? But that didn;'t seem to be the case.

The lack of proper log-info annoys me a bit, because I don't know why it's not working for me.

btw everything else is working fine

"The newer telnet (new package format) should work just fine. Even better: i've tested it past weekend and connected my NMT as slave to an desktop pc and was able to transfer files just fine.

Regarding restart in USB slave mode: it should do that when you connect an usb cable correct? Not compatible with the 'old' telnet though. All custom applications will automatically closed (this may take a while) when switching to usb move."
