RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.1.5 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Yes I tried it twice. Executed the command via putty and both times GBPVR started on the PCH. It seemed to be fuuly functional. I then exited and retested starting MVPMCX2 from web services and got the same "request cannot be processed".
There is a couple of other things which maybe relevant. Firstly I have just got my PCH back with a new motherboard. Had to RMA the previous one after it broke down. It has the very latest firmware (June release?). Secondly the PCH also gives exactly the same error message when I try to access two specific folders on my Qnap. The odd thing about that is that it will access other folders on the same share on the Qnap fine. All the folders have exactly the same permissions and all can be accessed fine by windows pcs. There is correspondence on the qnap forum about this issue from other people and it seems to be an acknowledged issue with samba in their firmware which they will no doubt sort in due course. I mention it as it does cause the same error message although it relates to opening a folder not executing a file in this case. However given that execution of the file is fine via telnet I wonder if its an folder access issue here too. I could reinstall a earlier version of the PCH firmware if you think that will help?? I appreciate the time you are taking to elp me with this. (06-08-2009 06:26 AM)Ger Teunis Wrote: That is weird, the gaya browser cannot connect to localhost port 9999. |
