Setting up networking sharing NFS/SMB A110

HELP!

I have a problem setting up networking sharing PC to PCH A110.

I noticed it is a common problem, but I couldn't find the solution for me throughout the forum.

Myihome is working correctly, I can stream video etc. to my PCH. Also Webservices (YouTube) are working OK.
I have no internal HDD in my PCH.

Network settings are entered manually (wired):
IP adres 192.168.1.104 (my PC has 192.168.1.100)
Subnetmask 255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1 (same as my router)
DNS are both set to the Gateway IP (192.168.1.1)

Then I setup the Network Share manually, typing in Networkshare->add:

smb://192.168.1.100/D:

and also

nfs-tcp://192.168.1.100:/D:

D: is the HDD in my PC (completely shared)

Sharename is left blank, as is User name and Password.
(I also tried Username and password as used on my PC).

But still no connection (no content found / request cannot be processed, the NFS server just times out).

I do have the latest firmware on my PCH (maybe I shouldn't?), I disabled any Firewall on my computer just in case.

Could anyone please help?

Solved it !

I simply changed the IP adress of the PCH into a number that is not in normal range of the router.

I used: 192.168.1.199 and then it worked!
