Try TSMuxer or eac3to.

RE: HDX 1000 DTS-HD Down Mix problem
Will the DTS core from a DTS-HD track travel down an optical cable or do you need an HDMI cable to carry the DTS-HD signal to the amp for extraction of the DTS core?
I suppose if you set the DTS setting to DTS rather than DTS-HD then optical should work. The apps mention will extract DTS from the DTS-HD track, so you can do it on your PC but I wonder if through the right settings it is possible? Yes the ones I mentioned above.
eac3to, TSMuxer and TSRemux (trueHD). http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=125966 http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=...tsmuxergui A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: HDX 1000 DTS-HD Down Mix problem
Owner of the HDX1000 and an older Denon receiver, which is pre HD audio. The HDX1000 is a connect via optical.
My process is as follows: - Rip BD (AnyDVDHD) - Muxing (more on this below) a. tsRemux for TrueHD b. tsMuxer for all others - Transfer via network to 80gb 2.5 which is installed in the NMT (01-13-2009 03:06 PM)chris57 Wrote: Will the DTS core from a DTS-HD track travel down an optical cable or do you need an HDMI cable to carry the DTS-HD signal to the amp for extraction of the DTS core? More on the muxing process. I work with m2ts btw, which is mere preference. I just stuck to seeded BD file format. The DTS-HD track already contains the core DTS track. Therefore when you play the m2ts (or ts) file on the NMT, it will send the DTS core data to the receiver to decode via the optical / coax digital connection. That’s quite straightforward in the sense that the downsample automatically happens. In the audio setting on the NMT, just ensure its set to Digital RAW (again working from memory here). This is not the case of TrueHD. Until I purchase an AVR which can decode HD audio, I’m creating two versions of the movie; one with the TrueHD audio and another with the downsampled DTS version. TsRemux gives you the option to the this. It’s the first checkbox on the left from memory. In my case, once I have an AVR which can decode HD audio, then I’ll just delete all versions with the downsampled audio track. Since storage is getting cheaper, this option becomes more viable. I also use eac3to where multiple m2ts files are concerned. This is probably a different topic altogether though. |
