RE: Cross Over Cable & Straight Through Cable
Read = http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-crossover-cable.htm
In other words, to connect 2 PC's directly (without router/switch, etc ...) you need a cross-over cable. A cross-over cable does not work for connecting a device to a router/switch/etc ... That's the easy explanation! Also - SEE THIS!
PCH A-100 || PCH C-200 || Panasonic TH-58PZ800U || Denon AVR-1912 || Cerwin-Vega CVHD 5.1 || Dish Network ViP 722 DVR

You can use either cable. |

RE: Cross Over Cable & Straight Through Cable
Active51 put your file on an external hard drive connected via usb to the PCH and play it. If it works then you have a net problem. If it doesnt then your file is the problem. Make sure that if a file does not work you then reboot before you try the next one. Otherwise the next one may not work either.
