This thread is to list and track the status of user's apps/tools under development or completed, easier for all to see.

1. llink
Description: A media streamer using HTTP protocol, should work with most Syabas platform, possibly others

2. mvpmc
Description: A media center, but really is a power shell to a lot of individual apps based on a strong set of commong libraries that fully exploit the embedded platform we run on, the Hauppage MediaMVP. Hopefully we can start benefiting from shared code libraries for the NMT platform too.
Some of the functions available for the MediaMVP device that need to be ported to the NMT will include:
- MythTV front end
- GBPVR graphic client
- SlimServer client include support for serial VFD
- ReplayTV client
- Native FileSystem browser with mpeg1/2 video and mp3, FLAC, vorbis audio (via libtremor) and wav support
- Internet Radio with on screen Shoutcast data. Local pls & m3u support, etc
- Interface to external VLC telnet server for non-supported media and protocols i.e. mms: Real Player etc.

3. monolith
Description: small, lightweight, server with telnet interface to browse files on the PCH and launch mono via simple commands.

4. GB-PVR Client
Description: Client for accessing GB-PVR on your PCH, giving all the GB-PVR screens including plugins etc. Its core functionality is all around scheduling/recording/watching tv, but it also does a ton of other stuff. Supports any number or combination of Analog, ATSC, DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-S video capture devices.

Status: Works well and has good WAF (wife acceptance factor). Nice snappy highdef user interface on the PCH. Recent additions have provided much improved music playback, added DVD playback etc.

7. Transportstream for NetworkPlayer
Description: Transport Stream Re-muxer with blu-ray/Sat/OTA and now MPG/VOB/EVOB stream support. Ability to trim streams at the beginning and/or the end, Ability to pick and choose elementary streams to be kept, Ability to remux PCR-less streams, Ability to remux program streams (MPG/VOB/EVOB) into TS/M2TS, Ability to demux elementary streams as well as subtitle streams compatible with SUPreader (right click the selected stream with the mouse)

9. AudioConverter for PopCorn Hour
Description: Utility to perform audio conversion of .MKV files to make them playable on PCH. Currently supports OGG/VORBIS, DTS, low-sample-rate up-conversion as well as AAC 5.1 and AAC SBR conversion.

10. ExtendedGaya
Extended Gaya presents a unified media browser (so not seperatly have to choose for Video/Audio etc).
It also adds the automatic generation of playlists (both sorted & randomized) spanning multiple directories.
Another important addition is the favorites feature. This allows easy shortcuts to the most often used files/folders playlists. Maybe more importantly it allows the PCH to be used without television screen for audio playback! Just switch on the device and use the number keys to select your favorite radio station/playlist!

11. Automatic Playlist File Generator
Description: A windows based program that allows you to select a directory to be scanned for the selected files types, and outputs them into a JSP file with the filename and NMT directory path of your choosing.

Status: Works great with PCH, and downloads all the information for you films and TV Series.

21. NMT Community Software Installer
Description: This application makes installing the software available in these forums a breeze. Lots of developers create excellent products for the NMT but installing these products makes it hard for non-techie people to test those applications. Even for technical persons it will be much easier to install software this way. This application installer uses a online reposity server which contains the recent software products made available in the forums. When new applications or themes are made available no new version of application is required, they will appear automatically in the available software list. Installing is just selecting the desired application or theme and then selecting the next button. The selected software will be downloaded, extracted, uploaded to the NMT and installed. After installing the temporary files will be cleaned from the NMT.

22. Transmission for NMT
Description: This is the transmission bittorrent client for the NMT and will have regular updates.
Transmission NMT contains a webbrowser interface as well as a NMT monitor screen (GayaUI).

Description: PC side application that that brings your movies, musics and other media that are stored in databases to your Popcorn hour. A MyHome replacement if your media are managed from a media management program (PVD, EMM, MyMovies, etc).

Description: The latest firmware release removed the support of BTPD. Lots of users still prefer the BTPD client because it is lightweight and fast.

Status: All working, but needs more polish around live tv. I'm also trying to make the UI a little more snappy (blame sybas HTML based UI ). Its been a little quite the last few weeks - I've been out of the country for that time, but I'm back now.

mvpmc is a media centre but really it is really powerful shell to a lot of individual apps based of a strong set of common libraries that fully exploit the embedded platform we run on, the Hauppauge MediaMVP. Hopefully we can start benefiting from shared code libraries for the NMT platform too.

It's a large task, but I haven't really run into too many roadblocks so far. I have got the core graphics library microwindows crossed including the graphic and remote drivers to directfb that were needed so I am very optimistic. (except for the current limitations with mono).

I am hoping that some of the other developers from the project will help me on this. Some are waiting to see what happens in the NMT platform.

the idea is to use the PCH with a ReadyNAS with built in SlimServer, not interested on another PC streaming software, don't want my PC on, thanks though...

you can install oxyl on readynas without problems? just look that you have an apache 2 version on it and an php5 version and it works thats all i use it on my QNAP and some users have it running on an NSLU from Linksys.
