[MUSIC] Music Jukebox 6 - final implementation on PCH?
Hi folks,

I am trying to get Music Jukebox 6 up and running on my PCH A-110. I have read the instructions and I think carried out all the steps, but in all my searches, there is one missing piece and thats what to do to see it on the device - maybe I'm just thick or something, but I can't find this anywhere, so advice as to what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

What I did was run Music Jukebox, inputting the following settings:
Music Folder - C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Music\
Output Folder - G:\Music Jukebox\ (this is my external USB HDD)
Popcorn hour path to music (it is recognised as A-5) - USB_DRIVE_A-5/My Music
Popcorn Hour path to Menu - USB_DRIVE_A-5/Music Jukebox

Everything seemed to work alright and transfer files to the relevant place on the USB HDD. But now I have no clue what to do. I plug the drive into Popcorn Hour, but I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to be seeing now, or what to do. All I see is the same PCH default menu - browsing to the Music Jukebox file I see nothing in Music - Looking for data, I can't seem to get anything to work.

I've never done this before, so I'm stuck - what step am I missing?
Thanks!

RE: Music Jukebox 6 - final implementation on PCH?
You seem to indicate that you have copies all your music to the USB drive as this is what you are telling the application.

If you did, then you have to find the index.htm file created by the jukebox application on your USB drive. You can do that by navigating the 4th icon to the right when accessing the USB drive (after Video, Music and Photos). The index should show up there somewhere. You can also try to find the index file via a file browser. Once you know in what directory it is this is where you navigate on the PCH. Once you select the index file the jukebox will run.

Thanks ylagace! I was being thick - Just as you replied, I figured out how to browse to the index menu of the jukebox (duh)!

But I now have one other problem. I can play individual tracks from an album submenu - but when I try "Play All" or "Shuffle" it says "Cannot Play". Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have not used this feature until now but a way to debug that is to find the Album Name.html file for this album and look at the html code in the Nusic Jukebox subdirectory. I think you will find a reference to a jsp file not far from where it says "Play All" and you would have to check that jsp file once you have its name. I cannot check from work right now.

This is a bit more complicated to check if you are not familiar with html code.

I would also recommend posting a line from one of your playlists. You should have a file named playlist.jsp in each album folder. Post the first line out of any one of these. Then I can see what path I am generating VS what you have above...

wandij,

I do not seem to have any playlist.jsp files either in the album folder or the music jukebox folder.

Maybe I did something wrong initially? I'll retry running the whole program later, see if that fixes it. Thanks
