Status of FIXING DVD PLAYBACK ONCE AND FOR ALL
For the love of god what is the status of getting this FIXED.
Every single DVD-ISO I ever try to play from it just results in frozen black screen. Promotional/region-free DVDs. DVDs I author myself. Stuff copied from disks I own so that kids don't tear it up. Out of like 15 or so images I tried maybe 2 or 3 work, the rest hard-lock the system up. HOW MANY YEARS WILL IT TAKE TO GET THIS ELEMENTARY FUNCTION WORKING??? My $20 DVD player has no problem playing ANY of the disks in question. P.S. Trying each new disk is also infuriating experience, since A110 removed front panel USB port, so now I can't use my 2.5" HDD enclosure with Y-USB cable, so I have to copy it at some ridiculous slow speed over ethernet, just to find out the damn device locks up when opening the disk. Pathetic, and the worst thing is, I'm probably going to be attacked by a bunch of fanboys who will spend hours trying to convince me that a piece of shit I paid for is actually "great" because it has a built in torrent client and someshit called "gargle". |

RE: Status of FIXING DVD PLAYBACK ONCE AND FOR ALL
I updated mine after I got it to the 081023 firmware and it plays DVD ISOs fine from the internal hard drive.
I am not a fanboy (err.. fangirl) but if you post constructive messages then maybe we can help you. I understand the latest firmware is being delayed because they are making sure they resolve a DVD playback bug that has appeared so it sounds like Syabas are actually doing all they can. RE: Status of FIXING DVD PLAYBACK ONCE AND FOR ALL
This is the NMT Owners forum so why you would start by attacking some of the members whose help you may be trying to illicit is beyond me.
Using language such as 'piece of shit' whilst incredibly immature is also offensive. Thread locked. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
