[B-110] Telnet
Hello,
I 've bought Popcorn Hour B-110 and i 'd like to change it's awful boot screen. In case of that i tried to do everything like in this link: http://www.lundman.net/wiki/index.php/NMT:telnetd . 1. Download the file: telnet-installer.zip 2. Rename telnet-installer.cgi-RENAME-ME.bin to telnet-installer.cgi . 3. Change every (at telnet-installer.cgi and telnet-installer.html) "HARD_DISK" to "SATA_DISK". 4. Using SmartFTP (ftpuser:1234) upload 3 (all) files to Download folder. 5. Set privilege for telnet-installer.cgi to 755. 6. Go to B-110 and pick telnet-installer.html . and here's the problem. After picking "Run from SATA_DISK" -> it always says that: "Request can't be processed". I 've also tried without changing "HARD_DISK" to "SATA_DISK" and it also fails. :/ And ofcourse i tried to download ctelnetd and it doesn't work too. What's wrong? What am i doing wrong? Can anyone help me? |

RE: [B-110] Telnet
Hmm, you could try setting telnet up to run from USB stick/drive?
If that works, once you have telnet you should be able to set things up manually, with input from lundman's wiki. Audio, video, disco - I hear, I see, I learn. Wiki. Wiki? Wiki! |

RE: [B-110] Telnet
Try the Community Software Installer. That should work for B-110 as well.

Check the cgi file for the right path. I had the same problem. I had to put the files directly into the "share" folder...this worked for me. |

CSI -> http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c316/T...ICTURE.jpg
and nothing new appears at popcorn menu or anywhere else (before and after restart). Root Folder? I'm going to try this out soon.

How to enable hardware B110 in hardware settings? Where are they?
I tried to put all stuff to root folder - nothing new happens. |

RE: [B-110] Telnet
Okay, i'll help you, hope it isn't that hard to find for others as well.
1. Open CSI 2. Click Extra menu (on top next to File and Edit) 3. Choose "Server / Hardware settings" 4. In the drop down box next to "Hardware" choose Popcorn Hour B-110. 5. Click next. This should fix the 404 messages. Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |
