[nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion
README - IMPORTANT
NEW WEBBROWSER ADDRESS FOR WEBUI HTTP://IP-ADDRESS:9999/NZBget_web/ The final of 0.6.0 of nzbget got released two days ago. I've created a package for the NMT. Please use the CSI to install the new version. This version includes an optimized unrar and par2 binaries. For anybody not able to use CSI, use the following steps: 1. Download: http://repository.nmtinstaller.com/Appli...nzbget.zip 2. Extract to the root (top directory) of you HDD (using FTP or SMB) 3. Open telnet to your NMT 4. Type the following commands: Code: cd /shareThis should install nzbget fine for the non-CSI-ers. Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Nice one.
Did it all by hand which was kind of a pain ![]() But this way it's much much easier. Could you explain what these optimized versions of unrar and par 2 do. |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Nice but am getting an error while uploading a nzb manually
"Error: Check the path and the permissions for the upload directory (option NzbDir)" Tried to reinstall it again but same problem. I've installed it through the community installer |

Optimizations> just optimal compiler switches for the MIPS cpu. Did not write any manual code.
Regarding the permissions error; I will update the installer. Could you open telnet and do a Code: chmod -R 777 /share/.nzbget/nzbDoes that solve your problem? Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
It's fixed, please reinstall.
For some reason a template settings file is used during a file move action in nzbget web. (future reference for myself: change $NzbDir in template-settings.php because file upload uses that that). Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |

NZBget is working but then locks up my entire PCH after starting to download a file for a while.
Any ideas? |

I read somewhere else that the PCH can only handle 2 or 3 connections, any higher and it locks up. I "was" using 10, but i havent tried lowering it yet. I'll get back to this thread when i have and post the results |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Anyone here with telnet skills and want to test an other build, to try if that build is more stable?
You need to have stability issues now! Download the binary from http://nmt.homeip.net:8080/Downloads/nzbget and store it in /mnt/syb8634/bin Mare sure you set the execute attribute and restart nzbget. RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
PCH A110 (latest firmware 01-17-090125-15-POP-403), NZBget 0.6.0 Final and NZBget web interface 1.3. No problems so far.
I am running 6 connections on NON SSL and installed using CSI. PCH download at 1400KB/s still 200-300KB/s down compared to PC. Noticeable unrar improvement in speed. ------------Current Status-------------------- NZBGet version 0.6.0 uptime: 12:47:47 download time: 1:00:00 average download rate: 1359 KB/s total downloaded: 4.66 GB free disk space: 925.9 GB |

One thing that I've noticed in the previous version is the degredation of the download speed. It started at around 1200, but then went down to around 245, in about 5 to 10 minutes and then the PCH stopped responding. It has been working now since 10 minutes at 1200, no degredation of speed so far ![]() Just checked again, now at 1350! Great job! Will keep you informed. Thanks. PS Kom je uit Nederland? Chris. No luck, the speed stayed high, but after a couple of minutes the telnet session was ended, and the PCH is not responding. Maybe there's something wrong with the HDD. Will try a chkdsk. |
