This seems to be with the latest firmware indeed.
Better post there the issue, because it the default NMT apps.

Wouldn't that be because NZBGet scans the NZB dir every 'x' amount of seconds (I think the default is 60s), so really the hard drive can never stop spinning.

you are right, but this has been always like this.
But now the disk starts spinning, earlier it didn't.

There are more users complaining about this now.

That's what I figured, however; setting the "NzbDirInterval" to 0 so it doesn't automatically check for new Nzb's did not work. Disk still spins up after about 5 seconds.

Can you please point me to the thread where the others are complaining? Then I can monitor that to see if they've got a solution

Does anyone have a useable nzbprocess.sh bash script that will let nzbget process rar'd nzb files?

I've read about this being done via a perl script in the non-nmt version of nzbget but I don't believe perl is available to us on the nmt.

Worst case scenario is I might try to write something up myself.

The default one that comes with the install can handle rar files.

Oversight (see sig) also installs a post process script that handles rar files.

One of the TV groups I some times follow sends nzb files to me in a rar'd format.

I'm kinda lazy and would like to avoid having to unrar before sending to the PCH.

I've got the rough outline of a basic bash script file completed, I'll try to give it a go over the weekend.

If there is interest I could post it here (provided it works and it's not breaking any rules).

I've got this very small script working.

It will process nzb's which are in rar files.

Is there any way for someone to write a script or make it possible to sort the queue list by age?

At the moment i have a fairly big list of nzb's in queue and i want to download them by Age, decending.

Manually would take me about 12 hours i think.

So now i have the nmt`s on stick oversight is working, but nzbget places the dl still on the stick in download.

How and where must i change that this, i tryed something but no result
can anywhone give me the exact changes the disk.

The name off the disk is this \\192.168.1.137\sata_disk_a4

That's not the mount point of you disk, that would be something in the likes of:
/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/SATA_DISK_A1
(on my c-200 it is)

I'm having issues restarting the deamon (only works when restarting from CSI) and another issue is that the newsserver i'm using is giving me 1 mbit feeds if i don't authenticate and 2 mbit feeds if i do, i've input my login data into the server settings but i'm stil only getting 1 mbit feeds, is there a way to verify if it's authenticating ?

NZBGet authenticates only if news-server request that by sending error code "480" (Permission Denied). There is no option to force it at the moment. I'll think about adding it or changing of login process.
