Yeah My original idea forgot that nzbget daemonized itself otherwise it the sleep was only a 10 second sleep that occured when nzbget exited, and was just to avoid the script eating CPU if nzbget was failing immediatly. However that's all moot point since nzbget daemonizes

It wasnt really a cron thing (a regular scheduled task), but rather waiting for the random death of a process, easiest way to do that is to be the process' parent. ... unless it daemonises

I'd wait for the jury to come back on the stable nzbget though. No point in making work for yourself, you've made enough for me
