Thats a matter of personal taste.

If I enable the old settings again then the messages will be flooded by "downloaded article .....". That is what I am trying to prevent.

I do not want to see all that unimportant information and only want to be bothered by information which is really important. I do not care if a specific newsgroup article is downloaded or not, way to technical for an avarage user.
I think a normal (read non technical) user is not interested in these kinds of semi-low-level info. They want to add an nzb file and only want to get information if something done or when real errors occur.

In other words: I am trying to get the information less verbose and less 'nerdy' for the average user. Real die-hard users still can reconfigure their client if they prefer to get all the nitty gritty verbose information.

Get flooded by informational messages and because of this miss the warnings, getting warnings during processing or no processing information at all. Postprocessing itself will not generate real warnings.

On the other hand: if you do not like the behavior you can reconfigure it in your NZBget's settings or get used to the postprocessing warnings


I would like to be informed on just the usual stuff, which file it is processing and the percentage it's at, only without it being a warning. I don't see a problem with the way information was given in the previous version.

Other than that, of course it's nice to see development is continuing
