Is there any way to make this the default nzbget so that feedtime will work with it?

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion
hi.. i downloaded the latest version via CSI NZBGet version 0.7.0-testing-r342 but after this, the new files doesn't go to the correct folder /share/Movies if movie and /share/Tv if tv shows.

All are dumped to /share/Download whether if it is a move or tv

any ideas?

thanks

If you are using Oversight you have to re-install it. You can now do this from the Oversight setup screen

Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs

I have the latest NZBget. Everything working great. Is there a way to automate the removal of rar files after post process and moving the finished file to a different folder (ex. moving post process file from Download folder to Movie folder). Thanks.

@Yitaro, nzbget should come with a post processing script. See /share/Apps/NZBGet/postprocess.conf
This has a DeleteRarFiles option and a DestDir option.

You can also try Oversight (see my sig), which also has an NZBGet post processiong script that will detect TV shows and Movies and put then in appropiately named folders.

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion
Diwnloaded this latest testing release last night an had nothing but trouble with it. For reason it crashes everytime and I try to extract a file. Also, whenever I log into the GUI from the net (eg on my iPhone at work) the server resets itself. Going to have to downgrade. I've been using the default nzbget for about a year with no problems, had days and days uptime and not a problem. I came across csi installer and updated nzbget in order to see what the improved rar checking was like and ever since I've had problems with freezing, crashing, reseting etc. Could anyone tell me what the most stable version is? Would it be best to do a fresh nmt app reinstall if I had no problems previously? Would I lose the data on my hdd if I done this?

Lordy, I have CSI installed and I see Oversight as one of the install option. I have Aeon movie wall on my popcorn hour. If I install Oversight, will it affect my Aeon movie wall. I see on your signature that Oversight has its own movie wall. Thanks.

In regard to stability there are binaries compiled for NMT libs and binaries with statically linked libs from optware.
The stock nzbget which comes with firmware/apps is compiled for NMT libs. Early versions of CSI were using binaries compiled for optware libs because the optware libs were more stable than firmware libs. Recent versions of CSI use binaries for NMT libs. Both binaries are provided on nzbget download page if you want to try a different one.

As to program itself there are no much differences in stability but newer versions have more features.

Symptoms like freezing and resetting are showing hardware problems. The fact you have that problems with newer versions of nzbget could be explained by using of different nzbget configuration (more connections etc.) which produces higher load on CPU. That makes more chances for hardware problems to occur.

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion
Hugbug, thanks for the reply.

Is there a thread you could point me to explaining how to set up a nzbget config for optimal stability? Im pulling my hair out that i now seem to be crashing with every file i try to download. Ive had about a year of stabilty to the point where i could queue about 15 10gig mkv files and leave it going over a couple of days with no problems. Now im crashing every hour or so.

Since my original post ive downgraded to 0.6 from the csi but still crashing. I dont know where to start. The only log i know of is in the download folder, btu that doesnt give me any clues.

Any help greatly appreciated.

You might want to try to limit the download speed AND number of connections.
Transmission also has this issue with high peer-count and speed downloads.

I'll try that, thanks.

Problem is, as I've said I've been downloading at full speed (10mbit for me) with 6 connections for over a year with no crashes.

Try the binary compiled for optware libs.
nzbget-0.7.0-testing-r357-bin-mipsel-static.tar.gz

Replace the existing file "nzbget" located in "/share/Apps/NZBget/bin" with the file from the archive. You may need to stop nzbget to do that.

Do you have a config file from the version which were working stable for you? I believe the default firmware configuration has the option "ThreadLimit" set to "10" (which is not a correct way to limit downloads).

I'm getting a max speed of 1100KB/s on NON SSL and about 700KB/s on SSL is this the norm for NZBget? or is something wrong with the ssl?
