RE: [btpd] BTPD 0.15 FINAL
2) I added 2 unfinished downloads and it is showing verifying status and the bar is not at all changing.
>> This torrent started downloading after some time, so u are right web interface is not showing the verifying checking status.

3) I now try to add some more torrents but cannot do that the web interface hangs for a minute and then blank screen. In the processes php5-cgi is taking more than 50% of cpu and then stops after 1 min.

>> U r right here again, I tried some other torrents which went well. The torrents I was trying before were 30-40Gb torrents. I don't know if the problem is related to torrents size. I will update on this later.

If that's not a confidential torrent, could you sent me the link to it, I'll try that specific one.
Find it here:

One more
4) if I click on details of any torrent other than first it shows the first torrent details only.

All torrent info comes directly from btpd daemon, could be it comes as 2gb already from daemon, but I'll heck in the evening if I can fix it.
Not, there is trouble in PHP engine
It is Necessary to correct set of the functions, that have problem with integers that greater than 2^31

(03-25-2009 01:12 PM)shurup Wrote:  Bad news here is the same - interface just takes the file and passes it to dtpd daemon, so in all 3 bugs above there is a chance that I won't be able to anything about any of them if problem goes to btpd daemon itself Sad But anyway I'll check all of them.
What about good news? ;-)
Btcli, that works with daemon too, does it in a fraction of a second. Therefore I think that Trouble in PHP engine again. I think you have seen speed of OLD Popcorn BTPD interface
Thanks! Smile

Good, so I have intval somewhere Smile , thanks for doing search for me Smile

Allbest Wrote:What about good news? ;-)

I said "maybe", I don't know until I check the code Smile

Allbest Wrote:I think you have seen speed of OLD Popcorn BTPD interface

File upload code is taken from OLD Popcorn BTPD interface and none of BTPD Control functions were touched, I only did new visual part, so I'm not so sure about that.
But I'll install old one and run them two side by side on same files, same torrents and uploads. And if you are right and the issue is new interface, then I'll rewrite it to more straight forward output or get back to old one. But it won't be today or tomorrow Smile so please use old interface instead.

Try reinstalling btpd, i've made some small changes this morning. Perhaps that will solve your problems.

I reinstalled it just about 3 hrs from now using CSI. Did you update it in between?

Oh, I didn't know bt.cgi, I came to PCH "world" just a week ago, so I'm not familiar with anything Blush it uses and it's origins,...except linux itself Smile

May be it is due the fact that bt.cgi is a COMPILED cgi script with php support?

Neh, you have one of the following enabled in your NMT's setup right?
Casgle or NZBget

Don't want to pile-up anything because I do very much appreciate your work but the way foldernames for the download directory is determined is kinda weird.

"House-MD-Season02.HR-HDTV.Complete" became "House-MD-Season02.HR-HDTV"
"House M.D. Season 3 [720p x264]" became "House M.D"
"How.I.Met.Your.Mother.s01.DVDRip.XVID-Topaz" became "How.I.Met.Your.Mother.s01.DVDRip"

Appearantly you trip the filename after the last dot. Could you remove that part so it will create the complete foldername? (will allow more easy migration of other clients).

About 2Gb - that comes from btpd socket, I had 4.7Gb torent, I connect to btpd socket run get torrent command (tget) and in return I get 2147483647. So if somebody is willing to get to btpd source and fix this "long" type to something longer he is welcome Smile Or I'll try do it myself later this week, but cannot promise anything now.

About torrent name - yep, agree, strange. I change it this way:

If torrent's ["files"] array with list of multiple files exists then torrent is downloaded to /share/Download/ and if such array doesn't exist then torrent is downloaded directly to /share/Download. Will it be ok?

There is also one more fix added, and the package can be found at same place. BTW I saw in the btpd.zip installation package under "php-btpd" folder there is an unnecessary(?) .svn folder that I think could be deleted.

Yeah, I got the code that build this release we are working on.
I'll look into it someday. No hurry because it just a cosmetic issue.

Yep it can, that was of my original svn checkout of php-btpd. I'll deleted whenever I am going to repack a new release.
You're also welcome to delete it yourself ofcourse.

I'll add you changes to the package tomorrow, thanks for your time again.
