How do you check if a media file contain DTS-HD / DD TrueHD?

How do you check if a media file contain DTS-HD / DD TrueHD?
i am not sure if mediainfo is able to show, but I have a media sample that's supposed to contain TrueHD tracks but mediainfo only showed AC3.....

Does it show the bitrate?

If it's a TS/M2TS open it with tsmuxer or tsremux.

Mmm, mediainfo does not properly detect advanced streams i.m.o.
This is the info for an TrueHD EVO: Code: Information for File: Dolby_TrueHD.EVOAudio stream #1 is in fact a 7.1 TrueHD stream... ![]() I use RemuxTool to show me what is in the files. |

so seems like there is no way to check on the media unless we output the stream to a receiver/decoder to check?

Yeah could be, the first media info output has an audio out with no bitrate on, that could be a bit of a giveaway.

I am curious to know if A-100 able to output bitstream for TrueHD or DTS-HD ? So we can send the HDMI out to a TrueHD/DTS-HD AVR for decoding.
So far I only saw LPCM 2 channel via SPDIF.... |
