[Subtitle] .m2ts and external .srt file
I'am trying to play a m2ts file.
The m2ts file have internal subs. Now I placed an external .srt file in the same directory as the m2ts file with the excatly same name only difference is the .srt. When I play the movie no subtitles are shown. When I press the "subtitle" button on the remote it shows subtitle on. I tried playing an .avi file with the same setup (an .srt file). This one is playing just fine and shows the subtitles. The only difference is when is press subtitle on the remote when playing the .avi file is shows "On [File]". But when doing the same playing the m2ts file is only shows "On". What am I doing wrong? Solution found: The .srt file were saved in Unicode format. I changed the format to ASII and the subtitles are now shown. |
