RE: myiHome 5.1.4 Release for Windows
There is a Linux RC of 5.1.4 in testing at the moment.
Unfortunately java releases for Mac are not available to update last time I checked. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

Did you at least pick a development version of 1.0.15 or only the official version? |

RE: myiHome 5.1.4 Release for Windows
Is there a "real" x64 version this time?
The previous version still requires me to install 32-bit Java and also the myiHome executable shows up as a 32-bit application in the task manager (running on Windows Server 2008 x64). |

RE: myiHome 5.1.4 Release for Windows
Sorry for asking a dumb question, but how to activate myihome?
I installed the program on my PC (Win XP) and I edited the settings so it finds my Video Photos and Music on the PC, and on the HDX the myihome service is running. But how do I get the - for example - my music playing and the photos on the tv screen? There is no START or GO button in the myihome window. Under Web Services or Music or Photo? I think (no I am sure ) I overloked something but i cant find it. Need just the GO button ![]() EDIT: I found on the Wiki : After installing myihome browse to: program files>myihome>doc folder to find the User Guide. I am reading it now. But still a problem. I dont see on my screen "myiHome Mono PC" while the NMT application myiHome Server status is running Should this be under Media Source ? I cant find it. Page 10 of the myihomeguide.pdf point 3. talks about myiHome LOGIN Not seen the login ???? 4. myiHome will immediately appear on your TV screen. ??? What have I missed?? Edit 2 Problem solved. Under Media Services just the name PC was the myihome service. I have more services but that give also my pc name with some extra information b.v PC:TVersity Media Server or PC:Administrator or PC:PMM (Philips Media Manager) only myiHome give only PC. Why not PC:myiHome. I overlooked that. But it is running now Music with Pictures Im happy now ![]() CONCLUSION: Please Syabas myiHome-Developer give it a recognizable name under the Media Service: PCname:myiHome !! So when jou say in the manual start myiHome I know what to start. Thanks |
