[A110] Why? Powering on after shutdown.
Why can I not use the remote to turn on the PCH after I shut it down using Power + Delete? I have to flip the switch on the back to turn it on. When I am through using it, I want to shut it down.
This would not be a big deal but I soon I am going to move all of my A/V equipment to a remote closet. And I will have to go into a back room to start it back up. That is as stupid as my orginal Xbox not being able to be turned on with its remote. The power button alone just shuts off the video signal. Power + Eject does a soft reboot. How about another option that shuts it down but listens for a remote signal to boot like a DVD player, or a TV? |

When I am through using it, I want to shut it down. You are turning the PCH off, leave it in StandBy, your TV/DVD Player is in StandBy, not Off, that is how they are able to respond to the remote. You can press the reset button the the front of the player to restart if its a A110.

You could also invest a little more and get a Popcorn Poweroff Module.
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=11665 http://ppm.forum2go.nl/ this little module makes it possible to poweron after Power+Delete. besides that, if you do Power+Delete the PCH still feels warm after a night (so it consumes power you pay for) according to respons about this PPM this problem is also solved.
