Simple email client?

Anybody managed to get a simple mail client interface running on the Popcorn Hour? Or maybe managed to access webmail from the Popcorn Hour?

In the past, it was common practice to read/write emails, even on an ANSI character based mail client, so from a technical point of view it should be easy?

I tried accessing my Squirrelmail mailbox and another simple web interface of another provider. I was able to login on Suirrelmail, but directly after the login the screen went black.

Anyone managed to read/write POP/SMTP email?

There is, but I don't think it's pop/smtp and I doubt if I could also write/send my emails with it. Writing emails would also be easy with a bluetooth keyboard (like the logitech dinovo).

If it would be possible to view a ansi terminal in a html page (web service) on the popcorn hour, then maybe even a simple mail client of 15 years ago would do the job?
